I brought in another load of fabric this past weekend and have been consumed with organizing…well, really I had no choice since I couldn't walk through this place without falling over something. LOL Anyhow, here are more lovlies for your viewing pleasure :o) Pinks and Lavenders…vintage Desley, chenilles, hobnails and other cotton wovens. I hope to get back to adding more fabrics for sale at my website in the next week. I'm going out of town again this Friday but I'll be getting it done just as fast as I can!! Check back often to see what's new.
This is an assortment of odd sizes of some felted wools I have done lately. All of the lighter pink colors are pieces of wool sweaters and the hot pink is pieces of wool fabric. I will have mini bundles of this for sale very soon. I have all different colors and will offer many different color combinations. They will be great for pinkeeps, the cute little softies that are being created, art dolls, penny rugs, etc.
Look a there, the hearts and love fabric all wrapped and anxiously awaiting to go live at its new home in California!!
Isn't this just the coolest fabric?? Yeah, I know, I say that alot :o) But's really cool!! There are many different vintage Alice in Wonderland fabrics. I think this one is from the 1950's but it could be the 1960's. Now for reproductions I like the Japanese Imported fabrics...take a look at the Alice In Wonderland fabric over at Repro Depot

Here are a few Feedsack fabrics from my personal stash. I'll be adding more of them in the weeks to come. GetCrafty has a great page of info and links about Feedsacks. Here is a good quilt history page that talks about the use of Feedsacks in quilts. And this one by Jane Clark Stapel
This is such a cool design...Just one of many designs on this piece of vintage cotton fabric. You can see more pictures of it over in the website catalog.
Here is a very large sized barkcloth panel that I haven't listed at my website catalog yet. It measures 32½" wide x 28" long. When I look at this design I always think of driving down a long dirt road to a house in the middle of a thousand acres! Now wouldn't that be divine? Well I guess I'll just enjoy the vision that this fabric brings to mind instead. :o) Please contact me to find out if you would like this previously loved vintage barkcloth to come live with you!
Here's a cute Hearts and Love cotton fabric that I just listed over in my website catalog
Many Thanks to everyone that is buying and responding to what I'm offering. This is just a snippet of what's to come. Here are a few beautiful pieces of vintage goodness :o)
Above is a motif from a piece of 1930's cotton. It has a slight texture to it and is lightweight. Kind of like a quilting fabric but with the texture. This will make someone a beautiful pillow or extraordinary purse!
Above is a piece of Barkcloth that is destined for that perfect focal point pillow or to die for purse...I think I'm stuck on pillows and purses..LOL Actually these motifs could be collaged with other fabrics to make an apron.
I've uploaded the photos taken so far into my Flickr Album. I will continue working each day to get this organized. But the pictures will give you a dose of what I've got and what is coming.
Here's my Flickr album...You will be looking in "The Fabric Collection" set. Just click on each thumbnail to enlarge the photos then you can click again to see the largest size. Each photo is labeled with a number for reference if you want more information about it.
Meanwhile, any questions you have before I get details added just send me a message through the request form I've got set up. If you are on the Farmgirl forum then you can email through the forum.
Thanks so much for taking a look,
Stephanie
